What haven’t you heard about Magnum Spedition?

It was back in September 1990 when the Magnum Spedition Ltd story began.

Bob Hattrell launched the company in Felixstowe, UK, to take advantage of a new opportunity he’d spotted.

Although fully independent, Bob was kindly given permission to trade using the name of a principal contact based in Germany. (‘Spedition’ simply means ‘forwarding business’ in German.)

Having made a great start, it didn’t take long before Bob’s well-established contacts in the business joined the company. Steering specialist Magnum Spedition divisions across the UK, these senior members are a key ingredient to our success and have helped the company grow year-on-year.

Not only are these senior professionals all with us today, but they also help us to attract a highly talented team of operators across our UK offices, who also tend to stay with us rather than move on.
